BROOKS DARRAH, PHD
Brooks Darrah, PhD, founded Samsara Consulting Group in Los Angeles in 2011. She is an executive coach and organization effectiveness consultant whose work combines more than two decades of coaching and transformation expertise with firsthand experience building and leading businesses in complex creative and corporate environments.
Drawing on more than 2,200 hours of coaching, Brooks helps executives translate insight into action—strengthening how they think, communicate, lead, and navigate complexity. Clients most often credit Brooks with helping them think more strategically, communicate more effectively, lead with greater confidence, and approach difficult challenges with greater clarity and capability.
Brooks specializes in organization design and transformational change, helping leaders align strategy, structure, people, processes, and technology. She has designed and led 38 complex transformation initiatives across Fortune 500 companies, government, healthcare, nonprofits, SMEs, and private-equity-backed technology companies. Clients have included Hershey, NIKE, Formula 1, Genentech, Toyota, Sony Pictures, the City of Los Angeles, and multiple PE-backed technology companies.
Brooks brings firsthand experience building businesses, leading teams, and delivering results inside complex organizations. Her corporate experience spans sales, product development, operations, technology, organization development and learning, and change management. Earlier in her career, she grew and led three major Hollywood studio-based production companies whose six films generated a combined $2.6 billion at the box office, 206 award nominations, and 18 Academy Awards.
